Real food, real stories, real flavours – in products, process and philosophy
Jyo’s Farm was started with the dual goals of empowering women and giving the farm-to-table concept a much-needed boost. After five years of establishing this focus, we are foraying into forming a collective of like-minded farms, so that we can bring an even wider range of authentic, single-origin ingredients and hand-made food products to the urban home while preserving traditional processes and flavours.

Sweta Garapati
Sweta is a budding entrepreneur who had a passion for empowering women in rural India. At the age of 16, she and her sister started Swayam Krushi, a micro-finance collective to benefit a group of weavers in Andhra Pradesh.
Her principles were further reinforced from her time at Scripps College where her own beliefs and thoughts were tested in the company of strong women who were constantly questioning the status quo with regard to women’s issues, and who inspired her to forge her own path. She had a strong desire to return to India to her roots and help empower women at every level. Jyo’s Farm was born out of the combination of this drive and her grandmother’s passion.
